Family Hotels in Costa Adeje with Kids' Clubs

11 family-friendly hotels with kids club in Costa Adeje . Handpicked for families who want the best.

Costa Adeje is the easiest place in the Canaries to drop your kids into a supervised club for the morning and actually relax. The all-inclusive resorts along this stretch of south Tenerife run kids' clubs from age 4 with multilingual staff, beachfront pool decks and evening mini-disco. Iberostar, H10 and HOVIMA are the three brands that families return to year after year. The 4 km seafront promenade connects the main hotels, so older kids can walk between them, and the Siam Park water park sits a 10-minute drive away. Year-round 22 to 26°C makes January and February as bookable as July.

Costa Adeje is the polished resort coast at the south end of Tenerife. The strip from Playa del Duque to Playa de Fañabé is dense with five-star and four-star resorts, almost all of them family-coded with kids' clubs and pools. Behind the seafront, the older village of Adeje climbs the hill with tapas bars and a Sunday market. The trade winds keep the south side warm and dry while the north of the island gets cloud, which is why families pick this coast specifically.

🧒Why Costa Adeje works for kids' club holidays

The kids' club setups in Costa Adeje are commercial-scale. Iberostar, H10 and Hard Rock all run separate rooms or buildings for ages 4 to 7 and 8 to 12, with structured timetables (Spanish, English and German activities) and lunch-included options at the four- and five-star properties. The H10 Daisy Club and Iberostar Star Camp are two of the most-booked programmes on the island.

Distance is the other reason this works. From any of the five hotels below, you are less than 10 minutes by car to Siam Park (Europe's top-rated water park), 15 minutes to the whale-watching boats from Puerto Colón and 30 minutes to Mount Teide cable car. Parents typically use the kids' club for the morning slot, then bring kids out together in the afternoon.

Parent's take

We've booked Costa Adeje for kids' clubs three Aprils running with our two kids (now 7 and 10). The Iberostar Star Camp model works best for our older one — structured day, lunch included. The H10 Daisy Club worked better for the younger one when she was 4. Both let us swap kids between days without complaint.

Six nights in February with two kids 6 and 9. The two-bedroom suite has a separate kids' room with bunk beds — small but enough for the 6-year-old and his Lego. We played 4 rounds in 6 days at 3 different courses. The Coral Kids team gave us a daily printout of activities with photos at pickup. Beach club is shared with the Villas next door so the same lifeguards know your kids.

Seven nights in October half-term with three kids 4, 7 and 10. The 4-year-old joined the baby pool club for two-hour sessions, the 7 and 10 year olds did the main kids' club. We played 5 rounds at Costa Adeje Golf and Golf del Sur. The walk from the resort to the beach (Playa del Duque) is 8 minutes through gardens. The teen-friendly games room kept the 10-year-old occupied during evening drinks.

Five nights in November with two kids aged 6 and 12. Mini Club worked from 10 to 5 with break. We played 3 rounds at Costa Adeje Golf using the resort shuttle which left at 7:30 each morning. The 12-year-old joined the teen programme one afternoon — beach paddle and snorkel at the cove below the resort. Quieter than the central Costa Adeje strip; the cove beach felt like a local secret.

Six nights in late October with two kids aged 7 and 10. Smaller resort than the others on this list, which made it easier for the kids to navigate independently. The all-inclusive included unlimited beach drinks and ice cream, which kept the kids cheerful. We played 4 rounds at Costa Adeje Golf and once at Golf del Sur. Best price-to-quality on this list — about 60% of the Royal Hideaway rate.

We took advantage of the kids' programme: half-day for the four-year-old went smoothly and she came back with a craft project. The lagoon pool is the right depth for a non-swimmer, knee to chest, and warm in the morning. The downside is the price of food on-site, so we walked the promenade for lunch. Siam Park is 12 minutes by taxi; the hotel will book it for you and have a car waiting.

Why families love Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife

Yes the music plays loudly at the main pool, but the family pool side is a different vibe and the family suites face away from the noise. The kids' bunk-bed bedroom was a real win for our nine-year-old who has never had bunks before. The teen lounge entertained the eleven-year-old for hours. Food is expensive on-site, so we ate dinner in Playa Paraiso village which is a 10-minute walk down the hill. Siam Park is 18 minutes by taxi.

Why families love Iberostar Waves Bouganville Playa

Seven nights in late June with two kids aged 5 and 8. Star Camp here is smaller than at Anthelia but the staff knew our kids by day two. The 5-year-old was in the morning-only group, the 8-year-old did full days. Buffet was solid for fussy eaters. The pool deck has shaded toddler areas that we used in the afternoon. Better value than the five-star next door if your kids are happy with three pools and entertainment.

Why families love Iberostar Selection Anthelia

Six nights in Easter with two kids aged 6 and 9. Star Camp accepted both kids on day one with a quick health-form scan and they stayed in the club until 5pm with lunch included. The beachfront location meant we walked to the sand from the pool deck. The buffet had a separate kids' counter with plain options. We paid the Star Prestige upgrade for the rooftop adults pool which was worth it for sunset.

Why families love Iberostar Waves Las Dalias All Inclusive

Seven nights at New Year with our 5 and 8-year-olds. All-inclusive made the trip relax-able — drinks, snacks and meals all in, no daily reckoning. Star Camp accepted both kids in the right age groups and ran morning and afternoon sessions. The squash court was a surprise hit with the 8-year-old. Slightly back from the beach but a 6-minute walk down a flat road. Worked out around 30% cheaper than the beachfront Iberostar for similar club access.

Why families love HOVIMA La Pinta Beachfront Family Hotel

Eight nights in February with three kids aged 3, 6 and 9. The kitchenette saved us — breakfast at our own pace, pasta nights for the toddler, and we still ate out for half the dinners. The kids' programme is more activity-led than a structured club but the staff supervised our 6 and 9-year-old in pool games for two-hour blocks twice a day. The 3-year-old stayed with us. Smaller, quieter, friendlier than the big resorts. Best for families with mixed ages.

Why families love H10 Costa Adeje Palace

Five nights in October half-term with our 7-year-old. Daisy Club opened at 10am and accepted her with a 5-minute briefing. The location is calmer than Fañabé — Playa La Enramada is rocky black sand, less photogenic but always available because it never gets too crowded. The promenade walk to the main beaches is 15 minutes flat. Buffet was solid, evening entertainment a touch low-energy by Iberostar standards but our kid didn't notice.

💡Tips from parents who booked kids' clubs in Costa Adeje

  • 1Book kids' club registration the night before. Most resorts cap daily numbers and the Easter and August weeks fill by early evening for the next morning's session.
  • 2Bring a printed copy of any allergies, medical notes and emergency numbers. Spanish, English and German staff rotate through the clubs and a printed handover avoids translation gaps.
  • 3Pack closed shoes for kids' club. Many activities use the gardens or beach pathways and the volcanic ground gets hot. Sandals are fine for pool sessions only.
  • 4The 4 to 7 age group usually has shorter sessions than 8 to 12. Check the timetable before booking dinner reservations so you don't double-book around pickup time.
  • 5Costa Adeje's mini-disco runs around 8.30pm. Order kids' dinner at the early sitting (6.30pm) so they have energy for the show without melting down at 9pm.
