Five nights in Easter with two kids aged 8 and 11. The villa setup gave each kid their own room and the plunge pool kept them happy between activities. We pre-booked Costa Adeje Golf for two mornings and Abama for one. Coral Mares kids' programme accepted the 8-year-old for full days and the 11-year-old for half days. The Atlantic-facing terrace at sunset was the parent-only ritual. Most expensive of our picks but the space matters with two kids.

- 1Pre-book the kids' golf academy at the same course as your tee time. Costa Adeje Golf and Abama both run junior sessions in the morning that line up with adult rounds. The hotels can confirm both bookings in the same email so you don't end up at different courses 25 minutes apart.
