Best All-Inclusive Family Hotels in Rhodes (2026)
5 family-friendly hotels with all inclusive in Rhodes . Handpicked for families who want the best.
Rhodes is built for all-inclusive family weeks. The east coast (Kallithea, Faliraki, Kolimbia) and the south coast (Gennadi, Kiotari, Plimmiri) are lined with beachfront resorts where kids swim, eat, and play without the parents reaching for a wallet. Here are 5 real hotels, from a 259 EUR/night 4-star in Kallithea to a 750 EUR/night 5-star in Faliraki, with verified Booking.com prices and ratings for July 2026. All 5 have kids' pools, themed dinners, and private beach access. If you also want water park resorts in Crete as a comparison, we've covered that too.
Rent a car: the airport is in Paradisi on the west coast, most family resorts are on the east/south, so transfers take 30 to 90 minutes. Rhodes Town and its medieval Old Town are a half-day trip with kids (pebbled streets, not great with strollers, but kids love the castle). Lindos village is the other must-do: donkey rides up to the Acropolis, tiny white lanes, pebbly beach below. Skip Tsampika and Anthony Quinn Bay on Sundays in August, chaos. For an Ionian alternative with shallow family beaches, see Corfu beach-access hotels.
🍽️Why Rhodes works for all-inclusive family holidays
All-inclusive in Rhodes is not one flat product. The budget option (around 250 EUR/night for a family of 4) covers buffet breakfast, lunch, dinner, local drinks and ice cream at the pool. That's what you get at Kresten Palace in Kallithea. The premium level (650 EUR/night and up) at Gennadi Grand or Mitsis Selection Alila adds a la carte restaurants, imported spirits, pool bars that stay open, and kids' clubs with real programming. Read the fine print: some resorts charge for the a la carte restaurants even on 'premium' packages, and some close the snack bars at 5pm.
The other thing to check: kids' club ages. Most Rhodes resorts run clubs for ages 4 to 12, which means toddlers under 4 will be with you all day. A few (Atlantica Dreams, Mitsis Alila) run a mini-club from age 3. None that we found do baby care or nursery. If you have a toddler, factor that into which resort you pick, because 'all-inclusive' doesn't mean 'free babysitting'.
Also: the south coast (Gennadi, Kiotari, Plimmiri) feels more remote but the beaches are wider and the resorts are newer. The east coast (Kallithea, Faliraki, Kolimbia) is closer to Rhodes Town, restaurants outside the resort, and the airport, which makes it smart for a one-week stay where you'll want to explore. Gennadi Grand and Atlantica Dreams are both on the south coast; Mitsis Alila is the closest to Rhodes Town at 15 minutes by car.
Parent's take
We did Rhodes with two kids (6 and 9) the first week of August. The kids wanted the resort pool over the beach every single day. By day 4 we had to drag them out of the resort to see Lindos. Worth knowing: the kids' pool at Atlantica Dreams is separate from the main pool, shallow, and has a shaded splash zone. That was the biggest win. Dinner-wise, themed nights twice a week at most resorts, but the regular buffet wore thin by night 5 at the 4-star properties. If you can swing it, the premium AI at Gennadi Grand or Mitsis Alila has real a la carte options and the kids ate better.
Our Top 5 Picks
Hotels in Rhodes with all inclusive, sorted by guest rating.

Atlantica Dreams Resort
Gennadi
Wonderful
462 reviews
5-star family resort in Gennadi on the south coast with 5 restaurants, separate kids' pool with shaded splash zone, private beach area, and a mini-club for ages 3+. Highest-rated family AI on the island at 9.5.
From
€577/night
Why families love Atlantica Dreams Resort
This is the sweet spot. The kids' pool is genuinely separate from the main pool, shallow, shaded, and has a proper splash area. The mini-club runs from age 3 which is rare in Rhodes. Rooms are new, bathrooms are full-size, and family rooms come with a sliding door between the parents' and kids' area. The one downside: Gennadi is 75 min from the airport and 15 min from any restaurant outside the resort, so plan to eat in.

Gennadi Grand Resort - Premium All Inclusive
Gennadi Village
Wonderful
668 reviews
5-star premium AI resort in Gennadi with 10 restaurants, private beach, kids' club, indoor play area, and sports bar. One of the few true 'premium all-inclusive' properties in Rhodes where imported spirits and all dining venues are included.
From
€655/night
Why families love Gennadi Grand Resort - Premium All Inclusive
Premium AI means something here: all 10 restaurants are included with no surcharge, pool bars stay open until 1am, and the kids' club has a proper programme (treasure hunts, beach games, arts and crafts). The beach is Gennadi's long south-coast strand. The resort is spread out, so plan for 10-minute walks between pool, beach and rooms with a toddler. Family suites are big (48 sqm) with separate kids' area and two bathrooms.

Mitsis Selection Alila
Faliraki
Wonderful
1,005 reviews
5-star premium AI on Faliraki-Kallithea beach, 15 minutes from Rhodes Town, with 11 restaurants, a kids' aqua park with slides, a teens zone, and mini-club from age 3. The largest premium AI on the east coast.
From
€750/night
Why families love Mitsis Selection Alila
Alila is the closest premium AI to Rhodes Town, so easy for a half-day trip to the Old Town. The kids' aqua park with slides is on-site and a real fixture, not just a splash zone. Teens get their own lounge area which parents of 12+ year olds love. Pre-book the a la carte slots on arrival, by day 4 the Italian is full. Families with toddlers: mini-club starts at age 3, which is where it matters.

Lindos Bay Hotel
Vlyha Bay, Lindos
Excellent
352 reviews
5-star beachfront hotel on Vlyha Bay, 2 km from Lindos village, with a private beach, 3 restaurants, and themed dinner nights. AI and half-board options with a softer all-inclusive package than the big resorts.
From
€370/night
Why families love Lindos Bay Hotel
Lindos Bay is the pick if you want to actually see Lindos village and not just stay inside a resort compound. The beach out front is small and shallow, great for kids, and the hotel is 2 km from the Lindos Acropolis. AI here is lighter than at the south-coast mega-resorts, so don't come expecting 10 restaurants. The pool is terraced, with a separate kids' pool one level down.

Kresten Palace Hotel
Kallithea
Good
1,340 reviews
4-star beachfront AI resort in Kallithea, 12 km from Rhodes Town, with a kids' pool, indoor play area, and themed dinner nights. The cheapest real family all-inclusive on the island.
From
€259/night
Why families love Kresten Palace Hotel
Kresten Palace is the honest budget pick. Rooms are dated but clean, the pool area is huge with a proper kids' splash zone, and the buffet has a dedicated kids' section with food that kids actually eat. Don't come for luxury, come because 259 EUR/night covers 4 people eating and drinking all week. The beach is shared with other resorts and gets crowded by 10am.
💡Tips for booking an all-inclusive resort in Rhodes
- 1Book 6 months ahead for July-August. Gennadi Grand and Mitsis Alila sell out by March for peak weeks. Kresten Palace has more availability but also books up by May. For Italian-island alternatives with similar prices, compare our all-inclusive resorts in Sardinia.
- 2Fly into Rhodes (RHO) direct from most European capitals May to October. Transfer time to the east coast is 20-40 min, to the south coast (Gennadi) is 60-90 min. Budget airlines don't always fly to Rhodes in shoulder season, check Athens connections.
- 3Ask specifically about kids' club age before booking. Most run 4-12 only. If your child is under 4 and you were counting on free childcare, you'll be disappointed. Atlantica Dreams and Mitsis Alila run from age 3.
- 4The a la carte trap: Premium AI plans usually include 2-3 a la carte restaurant reservations per week, not unlimited. Book the a la carte slots on arrival day. By day 4 they're full.
- 5Beach chairs: Private beach chairs are included in AI, but set-up is first come first served. By 10am the front row is gone at all 5 resorts. For a relaxed morning, accept row 2 or come back at 4pm when people leave for siesta.
